GeoSolveIT deliver award winning project

The Department for Transport (DfT) in the UK have launched an innovative and award winning new web site (www.dft-matrix.net). The web site shows information on traffic flows in Great Britain.

Transport Minister Stephen Ladyman said:
" I expect a wide range of people and organisations to benefit from improved access to the Department's traffic data through this award-winning website. It's essential for Government and its stakeholders to work together to share information more effectively. This innovative use of GIS technology is a great example of what can be achieved."
