GeoSolveIT has developed a solar panel (PV) placement toolset aimed specifically at the housing association market. This tool enables housing managers to rapidly identify their housing stock to quantify those that could be candidate for funding support. The tool uses industry leading GIS technologies, and is optionally linked to award winning website technologies to help housing teams maintain and manage their PV placement programmes.

This tool is available GeoSolveIT clients utilising the GeoSamba, ESRI or MapInfo technologies and adds to a growing toolset capability that GeoSolveIT have already proven and deployed to housing association clients.

The tool has been successfully used by a number of housing associations, including Tor Homes, Penwith Housing Association and Devon and Cornwall Housing Association.
